About you
We're now hiring a New York City-based Sales Director to be our most senior sales hire in the US - a seasoned sales leader who is STOKED to bring our AI platform to enterprise commercial real estate companies across the US. We need an ambitious, strategic, results-driven leader with experience nailing high-ACV deals in record time, scaling revenue and building high-performing sales organizations in the B2B SaaS space. You are that unicorn who loves both running deals yourself and running large teams.
That’s right, we need you to land us Really Big Deals. But as our Sales Director, you're not just here to sell - you're here to help architect and execute our entire US revenue strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll collaborate closely with the Exec Team to establish our sales infrastructure in New York, enhance our enterprise sales motion, and build a world-class sales organization in the US that can scale from millions to hundreds of millions in ARR.
You're very driven and have a proven track record of taking companies from early revenue to significant scale, with the strategic vision to see how Fifth Dimension becomes the dominant AI platform in real estate across the globe. You understand that in early-stage companies, exceptional execution today creates the foundation for category leadership tomorrow.
You are a proven sales leader with deep AI/SaaS expertise and an entrepreneurial mindset. Your experience building and scaling sales teams - coupled with your ability to close complex enterprise deals and develop strategic partnerships - makes you the perfect person to establish our US market dominance.

Reporting into Dr. Kate Jarvis, CEO, you will be the architect of our US revenue engine and the foundation of our future sales organization. You'll own the commercial strategy for the US market, working in close partnership with the leadership team and UK commercial team to drive our ambitious growth goals. You will:
Drive Strategic Revenue Growth 🚀
Own and exceed aggressive revenue targets, building toward $10M+ ARR in the US market
Develop and execute our enterprise sales strategy, focusing on six and seven-figure deals with major real estate companies
Build sophisticated sales processes that can scale from startup to unicorn
Lead Market Development 📈
Establish Fifth Dimension as the category leader in AI-powered real estate technology
Identify and penetrate key market segments, from large property management companies to global real estate investment firms
Experiment aggressively, learn and adapt US-specific messaging to tune our sales motion
Architect Sales Excellence 🎯
Design and implement world-class sales methodologies, playbooks, and enablement programs
Establish the metrics, reporting, and performance management systems that will drive our sales organization at scale
Create the foundation for our future sales team structure and hiring plans
Drive Product-Market Fit Through Customer Insights 💡
Partner closely with Solutions and Engineering teams to ensure Agent Ellie evolves based on enterprise customer needs
Lead complex proof-of-concept implementations that demonstrate transformational ROI
Develop case studies and success stories that become the foundation of our marketing and sales materials
Shape Company Strategy 🧭
Collaborate with the leadership team on pricing strategy, go-to-market approach, and product roadmap
Contribute to fundraising efforts with your deep market insights and customer relationships
Help define our expansion strategy into new geos and potentially adjacent verticals
What we're looking for
You've been a key revenue leader at a B2B SaaS company selling to commercial real estate companies, taking them through significant scale milestones. You've built sales teams, established enterprise sales motions, and have the track record to prove it. This isn't just preferred - it's required. We need someone who can establish the commercial foundation that will carry us to IPO and beyond. 🏃♀️
Must Have
Proven sales leadership experience at early-stage to growth-stage B2B SaaS companies, with a track record of scaling revenue from $1M to $10M+ ARR
Enterprise sales expertise with consistent success closing six and seven-figure deals ($100K - $1M+ ACV) and a deep understanding of enterprise sales
Team building experience - you've hired, developed, and managed high-performing sales team from scratch
Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution - you can develop the strategy AND close the biggest deals yourself
Technical product expertise - experience selling complex and technical vertical products (AI/ML, deeptech, fintech, or similar) to sophisticated buyers
Willing to travel extensively (25%+ of time) to build relationships and close enterprise deals across the US, with some travel to the London HQ
Deep experience in commercial real estate and understanding of the challenges facing institutional real estate companies, through direct experience or significant experience selling to the industry
A shared vision for how AI will change the world with the ability to articulate complex technical value propositions with your own personal use to prove it
Located in or around New York City with established professional networks - with an understanding that deals often need doing in person
