Product Manager (NY)
Own AI product at the world's leading real estate AI company. Direct founder access, enterprise customers, real decisions. Series A. NYC. Founder-level scope, IC role.
The Opportunity
Fifth Dimension is the most prominent AI company in real estate in the world, bringing vibe working to document-heavy industries 🌈. We work with real estate businesses in the US, EU and APAC, automating complex tasks, extracting valuable insights from documents, and empowering professionals to focus on high-impact work. Our AI workspace transforms how large investment managers and developers handle leases, development documents, and investment decisions.
We're looking for our first Product Manager in New York, reporting directly to the founder/CPO. You'll own product discovery, definition, and delivery for the highest-value use cases on a complex, data-rich platform used by the largest real estate investors in the world.
This is an IC role with founder-level scope. You'll have direct access to customers, engineers, and the founders. You'll make real product decisions every week, not present recommendations to a committee. If you're the kind of PM that has VP-level ownership but wants to hone their craft in a truly AI native business and product space, this is the role.
About Us
We’re a London, New York and Singapore based startup with ample runway, backed by Tier 1 European and American investors. Our founders, Johnny Morris and Dr. Kate Jarvis bring a powerful blend of expertise (and spice 🌶️): Johnny has 17+ years applying data and analytics to Real Estate, while Kate holds a Stanford PhD and 12 years of executive experience across Silicon Valley and London startups.
At Fifth Dimension, we’re demanding yet encouraging, valuing experimentation and kind challenges. Our company values, Own It, Ship It, and Don’t Be Boring, drive us to deliver exceptional results while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
The Challenge
The product challenges here are genuinely hard. How do you make AI-extracted lease terms trustworthy enough for a $500M acquisition decision? How do you design an intelligence layer that connects a hundred document types into a single view an investment manager actually uses? How do you build skills and automations that make professionals faster without making them dependent?
Imagine it's 9 AM on a Monday. You're on-site with a major investment manager in Manhattan, watching how their analysts manually cross-reference lease abstracts with market data. By noon, you've sketched a product concept that would automate 80% of that workflow. By Wednesday, you're working with engineering to spec the data model. By Friday, a prototype is in the customer's hands and they're saying "this changes how we do deals." That's the pace. That's the impact.
What You'll Do
Go deep in the domain. You'll spend real time with investment managers, asset managers, and analysts. Learn how they think about a portfolio, how capital deployment decisions flow through an organization, what a disposition memo actually contains. The best product decisions here come from understanding the user's world at a level where you anticipate needs they haven't articulated yet.
Own product end-to-end. Discovery, definition, delivery, measurement. No handoff chain. You work directly with engineers, talk to customers constantly, prototype ideas fast, and ship. We release daily. You'll set the pace.
Build for AI. Our platform is AI-native. You'll design products around entity extraction, document intelligence, agentic workflows, and data connections. You need to reason about what LLMs can do, where confidence thresholds matter, and how to make powerful AI capabilities feel simple and trustworthy to professional users.
Be the US voice. Partner on strategic accounts, represent US customer needs to the product and engineering team in London, and ensure the product works for an American enterprise buyer. 25-30% travel to client sites.
Shape the platform. We're building the platform to power all real asset decisions. Data connections, skills, integrations, search. You'll think in systems and make decisions that compound in value for years.
Influence commercially. You'll sit alongside sales in strategic customer conversations, shape how the product is positioned and priced, and ensure that what we build maps to what enterprise buyers will pay for. Product-market fit isn't someone else's job, it's yours.
About You
You're a product person who ships. Strong opinions, fast hands, high standards. You've owned a product area at a company that worked, not just one that was interesting. Your career shows a pattern of things getting built, adopted, driving revenue growth and compounding. People around you would say you operate at a level above your title.
You've gone deep in a professional domain before. You learned how lawyers actually work, or how underwriters think, or what an asset manager's day looks like. You became fluent in your users' world. You're ready to do it again in real estate investment management.
You're AI-native. Not "interested in AI" but actively building with it. You use AI tools daily, you've shipped AI features in production, and you can have a serious conversation about what agentic systems mean for product. You understand that this changes everything about how products are built and used.
You thrive with autonomy. No design system, no PM playbook, no research team to lean on. You run your own discovery, make your own trade-offs, and get to tangible fast. Ambiguity is where you do your best work.
You have the horsepower. You can go deep on data architecture with engineers and hold a strategic conversation with a CIO. You think clearly, write well, and spot the thing no one else saw.
What We're Looking For
Deep experience in product, with at least one meaningful startup where you owned outcomes
History of domain immersion in complex professional fields (finance, legal, insurance, healthcare, construction), genuinely fluent with domain complexity
Track record of shipping AI-powered features in production, taking them beyond demos and prototypes
Experience with complex data products where the core value is making structured or unstructured data useful
History of working directly with enterprise customers and translating their needs into a scalable product
Ability to prototype, in Figma, code, or AI tools. Gets to tangible fast
NYC-based, with willingness to travel 25-30% to client sites across the US
Nice to Have
Former founder, built a company, learned from it, wants to build product without the CEO overhead
Adjacent domain knowledge, real estate, financial services, legal tech, asset management
Solutions or pre-sales background, has been deployed in the field with complex enterprise products
Quantitative background, economics, data science, engineering. Can think in models and probabilities
Compensation

About Fifth Dimension
We're building the AI platform that powers every real asset decision.
Leases, financial models, data rooms, investment memos - for decades, the people making billion-dollar calls have done it with Excel, PDFs, and an analyst working late. We're changing that. 5D turns the most complex documents and data in finance into structured intelligence that professionals actually trust.
We're a Series A company with offices in London, New York, and Singapore, working with the firms that finance and manage the built world. That's every skyscraper, data centre, wind farm, and bridge - in the $393 trillion real assets market. We help them drive alpha, close faster, and make better calls. We ship daily, building a product that compounds: every data source, every skill, every customer correction makes the platform more powerful than the last.
Johnny and Kate founded 5D from a shared frustration. Johnny spent 17 years inside institutional real estate, close enough to the problem to know exactly where the pain was. Kate spent 12 years building enterprise software, close enough to know what it would take to fix it. They started 5D because no one else was doing it right, and they still run it that way: demanding, direct, and genuinely excited about what they're building.
The decisions 5D powers shape cities, funds, and careers. We're direct with each other, high on craft, and genuinely invested in each other winning, and we build better for it. If that's the kind of place you want to spend your time, let's talk.
